St George’s Infant School is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to cover 32.5 hours across the week.

We require candidates who are enthusiastic, conscientious, self-motivated and would like to provide a key role in enabling access to learning for our pupils. This role will involve working in Early Years and Key Stage 1, including working with pupils who have recognised special educational needs.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, and be able to undertake work, care and support programmes as directed by the class teacher and SENDCo. We are very proud of our inclusive school and our support staff team play a vital role in enabling our children to succeed.

This is a fixed-term position working 32.5 hours per week (8.30am-3.30pm with half an hour for lunch), 39 weeks per year.
